乳根

Rugen

Rugen(ST18,乳根) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Yangming Stomach Meridian of Foot.

Location

In the 5th intercostals space, below the nipple, 4 cun lateral to the anterior midline.

Indication

• ①Hypochondrium and mammary abscess, hypogalactia;
• ②bronchitis, asthma, hiccup;
• ③chest pain.

Method

Puncture obliquely 0.3-0.5 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
