Heyang(BL55,合阳) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyang Bladder Meridian of Foot.

Location

2 cun directly below Weizhong(BL40).

Indication

• ①Pain and stiffness in the lower back; pain, numbness and flaccidity in the lower extremities ;
• ②hernia;
• ③metrorrhagia and metrostaxis.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.7-1.0 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
